Got this fella last week, pretty beaten up! First thought it was a Barra King but starting to have doubts as it seems a little short...

I first thought Elliots but I couldn't find a pic of one with a flat belly! It has the typical "Coffin" bib...

Yeah Dan, all were pretty well past their use by date! A fair bit of work to strip repair, seal and prime. Get the occasional request for specific colours. Just did a batch for Ducks to take up north on his Barra quest... Just did these two that I got from Peter Mader.

Actually, they're small Leads lures Richard, not too sure of the model.

Is there any special process you use during the strip Ian, or just good old fashioned elbow grease and sandpaper?

Yes Ian, my bib is different, body is similar. If you are lucky in stripping in thinners, great. Scrape off, sand off (Dremel) Fill bite holes & seal & prime! Sums it up!!Cheers Richard.

Nothing really special Dan just scrape off the paint with an old hobby knife and sandpaper. Tried paint stripper but it seemed to take longer as the stripper kept drying out.

Is this one a Leads lure Richard or one of yours, similar body shape but a rounder bib.
