just before our weather turned to shite i headed out to dam to test  a few smaller minnow lures i have made .weather was nice with a tiny breeze to cool it a bit .the new lure has a real nice swagger to it and can be fished a bit deeper with large pull downs of lure first up ,or high in the colomn with rod held high and small twitches made .fished a regular logpile with great results landing 3 and dropping 2 first up .the strikes were aggresive nearly ripping rod out of hand and these fish were only 700mm,also which i havnt had before is i landed 3 bass on the same lure ,all foul hooked on sideplate of head which i think showed a get out of here attack on lure and a  not wanting to eat it strike .
it a lot better world if you just smile
