Edited Post: follow the link to a video tutorial

Ive been making these lures from Beer Cans and others, for a few years now.
Id like to know what you think.
I make a few more different ones, like prawns and crickets, some butterflies.

If you would like to try making the crabapillar, I show you how in this video

I make no claims because I have no pics,Pinch
Ive caught a flatty  a few bream and luderick from the rocks with the crab or I call crabapillar.  My squid jig (unpictured) does well with 4 calamari so far.  Were coming out of winter so ill be in the water more.
As my missus says "wheres the photos?"Ouch

During the heat of fishing it can be hard to remember to take photos, or even to take a camera /phone. Lost many good photo opportunities especially if you rely on somebody else to take the photos.
(as seen by the number of photos of fish against my leg).

aluminium cans have an coat of paint, the inside has a coat of plastic. buffers.
not as sharp as teeth so good leader line helps.
The small lures are flexible and dont grab the line (but can tangle but no more than any other lure). I  paint the legs with acrylic for contrast and it softens the edges.
holo decal helps to.

I try to design them to keep the lure away from the line as much as possible and have had not cut lines.
