I wonder how many German lures we have in our collections and are not really aware of it.
Here are some  ads that I have located in Anglers digest magazines  in 1969,some may come as a surprise especially the first Picture
Some shapes may remind you of some other lures on the market in Australia
Regards John

The photo's have changed around the Bellbrook type lures were the ones I thought we may have in our collections and think they are an American Lure.

Note that the three prong hooks look slightly longer in the stem on the lure

Got a couple of old DAM "Catcher" lures from Carl awhile ago that were in pretty bad shape! Gave them a bit of TLC. Wink

One was missing it"s weight so I had to cut one in half to fit both.

Tried to match up the colours as best I could.

They didn't turn out too bad... Smile

They look great!

I have a couple of badly munted Creek Chubs here I bought to do the same with.  I've been waiting until I get my airbrushing to a point where I'm happy to have a crack at them.

Think I'm just about there now. Smile

Depends on condition and if someone is looking for a specific model! I picked up a few Gerats a while ago quite cheap. In good nick and only a few dollars each. Still good Mackerel trollers...

Gerat just means 'tackle'

DAM = deutsche angelgeräte manufaktur

DAM Gerät = DAM-tackle
