Tony mine was also on a card and I took it off to save the card.It is unfortunate that this sometimes happens but that's the way it is .

Maybe the type of rubber being experimented with combining with the air and or heat.

I HAD the same thing happen years agowith some floppys left a box full on the dassh of me car at wooli on 40 degree day when i got back in the car at days end a clear container with floppy soup topped off with treblesDeadDeadDeadDeadDeadConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedShockedShockedShocked

I think it happened within 3-4ths.One minute it was OK then it started to break down.

The Ploppy technology material was much better in cooler climes I think, The same thing happens with Plucky's as well as Flopy's as Bob mentioned.
Don't worry Barry and Tony, when the foam completely melts off, the wooden core will be a talking point Thumbs Up

SO IN THE  INTERESTS OF PRESERVING THESE TREASURES, I AM OFFERING THE SERVICES OF MY HERMETICALLY BALANCED LURE FRIDGE...SEND THEM TO MEEEeeeeee Wink
