G'day All, found this yesterday at a local (Coffs) junk market. It's red cedar with a hand-cut ali bib and Bills Bugs signed under the tail. Looked at the other posts on this maker, but couldn't see any pics of any with ali bibs. Would this be an older model, possibly from the mid 80's? Any clues as to age appreciated, well used but not bad for a buck!
Regards, Tony.

G'day, I have a couple with alloy bibs and they are older than my lexan bibbed ones. Not sure on age though.

Wink Tony I've got one of those lures with alloy bib that harro gave me. I spoke to bill about via the phone some time ago now and he told me he knocked a few up for Harro in the days when he was filming the exploits of fishing for P.N.G. spottail bass etc etc. So I guess seventies?????? Anyway I got a couple of his cod lures same shape lexan bibs but plastic injected and just awesome actions! yes Mr Clarkes lures are very underrated............B.J.

Met & fished against Bill Clarke @ the 1988 fresh water state championships at Lake Keepit. He told me he had been making lures for about 1 year. So definately not the 70's !
