Here is a rod built on one of my favourate blanks [ secret ] as I trim it to what I want , it is 6 ft High modulus graphite fast action , I designed it for Jacks but has proved to work very well on Barra too , I would say it would be great for your smaller murray cod , The rod I have has caught over 200 Jacks , again all Alps components , this rod I retail for $299.00 , with a fuji reel seat and full rear grip $269.00 ,you will notice the coloured thread I use , well it is not thread as such , it is a flat metellic thread , photo do not do it justice , it took awhile to work out , but now I use it a lot because it is very popular .
