Found this lure jammed in a log on the Daly today. Anyone know anything about it?

Was made by a bloke near Redland Bay south of BRisbabe. He used to go to a few weekend markets selling them. Unsure if he is still “in business” though. He used to hang a 50 kg weight off the tail hook hanger wired up from the nose to show how strong they are. He had a stall at the first Ipswich Lure expo.

Found on the Daly R today? Thought the barra comp was on since Thurs. I'd say there'd be a few more floating around after 70 teams flog it to death for a week
 .Should return to the early 80's when the comp. was moved to different NT rivers every year, made it more of a challenge being restricted to 6kg pre-test also. Seaweed. |

Cheers. I did see the picture on the lure hub site and it sort of resembled the lure but when it said nsw I thought possibly a different maker. Any idea on what age or year it was made out of interest?
