Terry has been playing around trying to make up some surface lures for cod. The original inspiration was the old Newell lure I showed a pic of a while back. Here are 3 he has come up with. There will be a smaller bib version as well making the line up 4 different sizes. The Large one is called a "Yamuru". The medium "Bails" and the small one "TRM"

I have given these a run in the pool and they make a very nice and loud "plop plop plop" sound, perfect for those night time cod sessions. Apart from the bib these are typical Garra lures and hand carved, twisted wire hangers and hand painted. I recon there will be alot of New England cod fall to these over the coming yearsWink  Not these though, as they are of the first lot made they have been swum to test then onto the display wallTongue

This is a big lure for big cod. Yamaru is 150mm body.

'Bails' is body length of 120mm.

and the TRM is 100mm body.

And the Newell inspiration lure, nice to see Peter's influence carry onClap
