Gobsmacked! Shocked

Simply amazing collection Barry Clap

There's a couple in there I recognised (one of which is the lure that got me into collecting lures for other than fishing!) Wink they must be so much happier surrounded by so many of their friends LOL

Cheers, Tony

For the love of Fishing Lures.

Hi Barry,

What a magnificent collection of Bellbrook lures. I have never seen a better collection in recent times.  Do you have any history on the modification to the lures for fishing in FNQ?

Absolutely fantastic

hahaha, just bloody typical of Barry. I post up one and he brings out the rest of the range which was "just hanging in the shed" LOLLOL

Awsome collection Barry. I can see the same colour pattern as mine in there but not the same size. Good to make a bit more of a confirmation on my ones ID.

Barry,
Fantastic to see.
Those 2 Barra King models on the blue P.Southam cards are interesting.
Are they screw in eyes,or are they the mystery lures with the metal strip along the belly??
I never knew that he made a different model to his father's line and also that he added that Pretty Boy colour.
Just shows why cards, packets, catalogues etc. are so necessary in collecting.
Cheers,Jim

Hi Slim,I will have to check with some older guys here and see if I can find out when they came out with the upgraded Barra version but it did not take them long to realise that there was a definate need to do this for the northern fish.

Dear Jim thankyou for your interest.
The carded ones do have screws all round as well as the metal upgrade strip.
I am in the process of trying to get hold of some bellbrooks in cardboard boxes at present. They are very rare to find.As you can see most of the older ones are in plastic boxes.
All the best Barrry

Just heard recently about Bellbrooks...impressive collection to say the least. Clap

The jointed ones are dead ringers for MirrOlures...especially the Pike Master and Bass Master series.

The ones with the metal strip remind me of a Canadian company called Hex that I recently discovered...and their lure was a Hex Floater...

Hi Baz - makes my collection of 6 look very small.

A couple of interesting adverts for your viewing pleasure

Hmmm notice the name BELLROCK - maybe a typo that slipped past the editor

Can print these up in A4 if anyone is keen - just PM me...
