Here's yet another great article that Jim (MurrayCod) has been kind enough to share with us from his great collection of reference material.

As a collector of Gordon Fallon's lures I have learnt a lot from this article.

Modern Fishing - February 1986

Cheers, Tony

For the love of Fishing Lures.

This is a great article on the Kingfisher poppers, and their maker. It is also unreal to have pics of all the models to use as a reference.

Here are some I picked up recently.

Super Blooper

Long Tom

This is the original art work and add for Gordon's Fat R Popper.

One more, this was the rough art work for another of Gordon's  original adds when he first changed to moulded.

Interesting art Warren, thanks!

Were you involved with the art or Kingfisher?

Happened to see this after you left this arvo. The art work is very likely by Al Dolan, Lively Lures. He is a sign writer by trade. Saw some of his sign writing expertise on the weekend when we were making signs for Darryl Steel's tackle clearance.
