Been working on a Bass/Cod lure that is a down sized Jimma (My Jewfish Lure)
Last night was the first time giving it a run. Got a couple of small Bass which was a surprise as its a BIG lure. 80mm long and 25mm wide. Its a head down tail up waking on the surface. Same as the Jimma on a slow retrieve Anyway when you think your rigged for Bear you soon find out its still only a pee shooter. 10lb braid, 20lb leader. Had the braid popped like a gun shot. Some fish are not meant to be caught Any this is the only pic as not the lure is GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE |

I dont think there is a lure that a bass wont have a go at.
Got to remember they have big mouths and by no means would I think 80mm is too big for a bass, even little tackers. I have had 12-15cm bass hit suspending 8-10cm lures and I keep looking at them and asking them what the hell were they thinking.
