I built one a few years back when I was into building models .
I used a second hand range hood I picked up at a local auction for 10 bucks , it 900mm wide . I turned it up side down so the fumes would be drawn down and away from the user. I built a box on it with ply and then painted it . I did some mods to the range hood to make it exhaust out the back into a plenum and then it goes into a 100mm pipe. It has a multi speed fan and I added a fluro light to the roof . The work surface slides out and has vents to draw the fumes through the filter is under the work surface and is easily cleaned. I still have it and do use it when painting my lures. I has some pics of it but I'm not sure if I still have them.Ill have a look . Kev |
