Picked this up on flea bay in a moment of weakness. Description said it was from the 1960's but listed the brand as a Bill Norman. This was the only photo of it. Can anybody shed any light on this?

The Hellbender was first made by Whopper Stopper, long before Heddon aquired the rights. In fact A.D Mfg Co a division of Hawk Fishing Lure Co back in the 1960's made them before WhopperStopper bought them. WhopperStopper was bought by Heddon in 1983/4 and therefore became part of the Pradco family when Heddon was bought in 1984.
