  These are called Peg Lures and were made by Tom Hooper in Gordanvale just south of Cairns.Tom was an early innovative luremaker and although not pretty they were very well regarded in their day.
His bibs were mainly copper or brass and he only had access to 3563 bronzed mustad trebles.

I notice on one of the labels it says 1960, is that when Tom was making them?

Yes it was late 1959 but definately 1960.Very original.
