Oldman, you have a lot of timber Elliots. A friend of mine recently came across over 20 Elliots, unfortunately only one was timber. It has a bit of paint missing from the bib and the odd hook pointer, just wondering what a rough price would be for it and 20 other moulded Darts in different sizes? Is there much of a market for them.He might also be getting around a dozen bibles Elliots as well.

Well, finally got some pics of my Mates Elliotts. He picked them up from Narooma and from the looks of it they were once purchased straight from Mick. There are quite a few unfinished lures, no eyes or clear, as well as a couple of seconds with one eye or smudged paint/eyes.There is also a Mackeral Mauler body with plastic hook hangers although there is only one left.Could it be a proto for the 5 inch Mauler.I have a NIP 5 inch Mauler and the shape is quite different.
There was also 2 timber Elliotts.1 3inch Dart with sticker underneath, he has a bit of paint missing from bib and a few scratches and the other is a mint never seen water 5 inch Mackeral Mauler. These will be for sale. |

My guess is that somebody forgot to put the wire in the mould before pouring the urethane....
The urethane then filled the slots where the wire should have been. Laurie.

Paul
It came from my favorite source of Elliots. It is different to anything I have seen, doesn't have a sticker, but has the oval mark where one has been. If its not, then I would like to know what it is.

Found an Elliot that is very different from anything shown to date, will keep you all guessing, as I want to show it to Laurie first. Going to be home second half of August Laurie?
