Here are some new lures made by Tom Murray of Atherton about 15yrs ago.He now resides in Weipa.
They are a solid well made Barra type lure with distinctive paint patterns as well as most being signed TM under the bib.He used to sell them locally on the Tablelands before he went to Weipa.
Another Queenslander to add to the list.

Wonderful stuff Barry.

I'm glad you told me that's TM under the bib because I would have struggled otherwise.

Yet another mystery solved - thanks Barry! Clap

Jim - I always thought it was either TM or JM, my initials are TM and that's just how I do my initials as well - do I get a prize? Big smileLOL
Cheers, Tony

In the unpackaged lures the 3rd down on the right is Tom Murry but repainted by Ken Stein.

G'day Barry, Do you think it is posible that these might be some of Tom's handywork?
I have been trying to ID them for some time.

Thanks Steve

Do many people have TM's in their collections? I recall these being for sale at the Atherton Convenience Store in the mid 90's and used to have good success with them in Tinaroo on Barra. The old man still has a few of them and I would be keen to get some other colours if anyone is keen on selling a few?

Mr. Stock, your avatar says you reside in Weipa. As we're told he moved there from Atherton, have a look in your local phone book, you may track down the original maker. If you're lucky he might still have a few.
