Flatties will scoff just about anything...
But - I reckon a 3-4" curl tail grub (I like z-mans lately) is flattie dynamite. Although more people seem to have moved on to shad shapes. |

just the basic squidgy wrigglers, preferably in the brown or red rum colors, if the barra are slow you can always pull in a feed of flattys with those bad boys.

Hands down best flattie lure ever - Atomic /Plazos 3 inch Prongs. Look weird but feature a curl tail like a grub and feelers and feet like a prawn imitation.

I like squidgy 3" pro fish in grasshopper colour and berkley power bait 3" mullet in perch colour but very hard to get these days. My son and I have caught more big flatties (80cm+) on this perch colour than any other. But mostly flatties will take just about any plastic if presented correctly to them.

The Zman Minnowz 3" is the my favourite now. This one took a squidgy.
NB96 that lizard is a beauty. I've chased and caught thousands of lizards and still haven't come across one like that. One day! |
