Found this  photo in some estate fishing books, from the 70's
Appears priest used.

Note very old gaff and old cane fly rod, box of matches to help with size , unfortunately no other details.
Somebody who collects match box maybe able to tell us when this particular Red Head was available
regards John

Huge trout. I remember that redhead box from the early 70's when we owned a shop in what is now inner Brisbane. But the girlie has changed a few times since then and can't remember when I noticed the first change. The first girlie was more 50's style hair do and a skinnier face and she made it into the 60's sometime.
Martin-

Too hard to tell from that picky, whether the matchbox was cardboard or vaneer.
The change was introduced about 1975. The same 'Girlie' was on both.
Best guess,- 1975.
6" Tail!  She certainly was a 'THUMPER!'
