Acquired this Swedish Fishing Book at the weekend, published 1988, and released in English 1997.

Has some interesting home made wooden lures (interesting bib sizes and thickness)supposed to have been made in Sweden from the early 70's  to 1988.

Front cover has a very interesting Lead spinner (moulded or not ???? note the wings) and what appears to be a lead celta body not brass or nickel.  Red tag tubing popular overseas as well.

Also has information on early hooks and fishing type spear, purporting to be 8000 years old , no doubt acquired from grave goods. I will put that up later in a different spot

Regard  John

Nice post John, I'm surprised there are no 'saddle bibs' here--maybe they weren't invented back then!!!!.
Ah -Ha !! ---------------there is a copy of one of my old lures there though LOL.
