I had the pleasure of chatting with Richard Lee of Lee's lures last week. Thanks for your time last week  Richard, and thank you also for sending down the great examples of your work.

For some time now I have been hoping to find some information regarding Lee's Lures - with Richard's help we should soon have a history of Richard and his lures to share with you all Thumbs Up

To get things started here's some examples of Lee's Lures - quite a diverse variety of models, and very nicely finished I should add!

Richard started making Lee's Lures in 1986 and had ceased production in 2001, although is now ramping up to make some of the models again Clap

This nude "Jack Trap" lure is stunning - you would swear you can see "through" the timber, I'm a sucker for nude lures and this one is one of the most beautifull I've seen StarStarStarStarStar

Cheers, Tony

Don't forget to get some pics while they're down off the net!

I caught more than a dozen Barra in a few hours using one of Richards lures at Lenthalls dam one evening, it's great to hear Richard is making them again Big smile

Some stunning lures there Tony.

Like the nude one it is stunning, the rest look superbly finished especially the sooty trap.

Apparently Richard made some jointed models as well?

Thanks for clarifying that Thumbs Up

I have them dating back ti 1982 when Richard used spray pacs then would go to the garage and have a tank filled then progresed to a large tube and then a small compressor which he still uses today. His son helps a lot and i enjoyed my snack there as well. Learned a lot, Great folks.

What we are looking at here folks is a real old crock, complete with buggered shoulder, flat out standing up straight.DeadDead Cant remember what happened the night before!!!Peter appreciated getting the old crocks signature on everything so that was pleasing. Bob the old legs have a sort of skin bleaching thing, doc promised to cure it 20years ago, top job ehhy??? Cheers Richard.
