Checked the search area, several lures featured in collections ,located this ad ,appears, another Qld maker.
Ad located QFM Oct 1996
 
I do not think it has been placed on the site before.

hmmmErmm that area code was for Boonah, Caboolture, Esk, Gatton, Gympie and the Sunshine Coast, changed on the 10th July 1996. Now it's 0754 ******, looks like the editor didn't pick up the error Big smile

I have one of the little 4cm Horny Herrings. Looks like I need it's bigger brother nowConfused

I wonder how long they were around for.
Several of the smaller ones appear to have been recorded in the past.
Now in obscure places.
 
Interesting to have posted for future reference,  what everyone has on this thread and perhaps added to the QLD Makers list
Harder and Harder to find markers in the past that have not been recorded previously.

I have about thirty brand new horny herrings ,very nice looking lure especially the small ones,am going to list them as soon as i work out how to do it,also have a handful of lively lure prototypes (mad mullet etc) all signed as well,........bob

Brett Choyce owned the Horny Herrings prior to buying JaySea Lure from me that was back in the early 90s and at one stage Angler Rods at Caloundra owned them before Brett, not a great deal of them were sold, not sure who Brett sold the brand too. Hope this helps a little.
