I thought you might be interested in seeing these photos of some unusual Flick's designs made years ago.

They are Mick. Notice the size and shape variations in them. I love Flick's lures. The big Cod Cobra was found on the dam years ago. I know that Alec tested those big ones here early 90's when he met up with Peter Newell.    Debbie D

Hi Debbie,

I wasn't going to post a picture of this lure as I thought I had deleted it off my computer.

Approx 18 months ago I purchased this lure and went on a hunt as I thought it was a Flicks lure.

I was informed by a very good source that in fact Neil Shultz made this lure and Model  " Cod Cobra " Approx 4 years ago.  Flicks never had this design and it is one of Neils after he took ownership of the lures.

one way of telling is the Luxon clip and the Yellow of the eyes as his are stick on if you get what I mean.

I passed this lure on with a bunch of others awhile ago as I never collected many of his.

Hope this may help clear up a little of history !!

Regards Tony

Very nice Deb. I have a few old ones of his. I'll find them and post some picks. I also have a fair few of the later models. ClapClapClap

Some more. I don't own all these lures as they belong to a friend of Alec (Flick) who allowed me to photograph them.

Very nice!

Instead of starting a new post I thought I'd just add to it. A couple of old styles.
