I have been playing with newer shape( for me) popers and trying to use scale pattern stick on holograhic panels and eyes also a deeper cup face. I have also been trying different clear finnishes becoz the self adhesive tape & eyes doesnt like clear acrylic applied over it. will eventually get there what I am looking for is a hard glossy finnish which I can achieve some times but not repetitively. But I will Get there.

Bill, nice lures mate.
I have been hearing of people using cement/stone sealer as a clear finnish, water based which might be kinder to your adhesive strips. Apparently it dries to a hard coat, I am guessing somewhat like the 2 part glass coats, but in a single part product. Brad |

Thanks for that Brad we use that for our slate floors. Will give it a try. Actually used to use durethane on rod bindings when I built my own rods yonks ago. It maybe similar. Billj

Bill, ahhh so you know it, I looked for a small can of gloss at my local bunnoings, but they only had gloss in 4 and 10lt tins, semi gloss in 1lt
I don't know anyone that has used it 1st hand, can only rely n what I read on forums and off Utube. Brad |
