I have to say I think the best Lure painter in the U.S. today is John Snow. His work is outstanding in that he not only creates beautiful works of art but they also run true and catch fish. He works in both resin baits and in Wood. None of my mentors are mentioned here. Wishmaster lures Rolf Balisek and Loke Lures John Mulliet both deceased. These guys got me into the lure making racket. I wish I could post pictures.
http://probassfishingblogger.com/musky-muskie-pike-lure-snows-9-mahogany-smallmouth/ That is just one of Johns awesome paint jobs. I met john in Chicago at the Musky expo show. His painting skills are second to none. Kingfisher I got the picture thing now. |
