I have only seen this Rapala spoon once and I believe it to be discontinued.
Appearance/Composition appears to be all sprayed, relatively light for size, metal spoon base , some sort of thicknessing low density filler , and spring wire to make it weedless. Combo of the old Swedish ABU Vass style combined with some modern non ferrous material to give it sufficient thickness to almost cross the line from spoon to plug. Strange beast. Any of you know anything ,more about it? I managed to buy 2 only, 10g and 20g size Not fished yet, hopeful it will be a nice addition to ther spoon armoury Wayne |

Minnow spoon is quite common (cheap) lure in finland and there is two types, one like that in your picture and other with treble hook. http://www.normark.fi/tuotesivu/rapala_vaaput/rapala_minnow_spoon And treble model from other shop: I used google littlebit and found from finnish fishingforum 3 diffrent sizes: 7cm/15g 8cm/22g 10cm/32g But these are maked quite long time, so i think that sizes has changed few times. I dont know how normal type is spoon like that is yours country, but we called it lightened spoon (straight translation from finnish). It's quite useful in shallow waters, because it sinks more slower than normal spoon and it can be more heavier than usually. I myself make little bit similar spoons like minnow: That one is coverd with roachskin.
