a fish in a circle ,stamped ,I wonder if it is also a location . The eye appears to be stamped as well. Any ideas, possibly an import lure regards John   |

John i am quit sertent this is a Swedish Spoon. Cant recal the name and maker, but will try to look into it. Have seing some off these here before, and thy did not have beads eyes |

It just appears as an indentation only
Nothing to hold an eye and no sighs of any glue used Effective to catch a fisherman only. Regards John

Hi John Your Lure is called : ornö and made by a fatury called : FIG = Fishinglure Fabric Gnosjö Smaaland Sweeden. This factury started in the 40ties and the main production was Locks to bicycles. There fore are the stamp on your lure a : Fish in a Bicycle Lock. The fabric was one off the biggest in sweeden and made lures till late 80ties. Most of the Lures was sold under other names. Here is a Pict. off a lure like yours with the name stamped on. Hope this was of some help mate.
