Tuff question bob!
I really like the old heddon tiny torpedo, and the cotton cordell pop R, but if I could only choose one, it would be the cone poppers, made by various makers, I have a few plastic killa lure cones, and a few of Richard Lees timbers, they are my favorites, the cast great, and catch fish. |

Easy question to answer at the moment as we have had allot of surface action on the Cod of recent times here @ Mulwala.
1. Gobsmacked "Buzz Bug", it's set up with a cup face popper & buzz bait wings. 2. Jackal Pompadour Cheers TB |

The heddon tiny torpedo for the bass and the berkley pop dog for whiting. The reason I started to make some lures is I lost too many tiny torpedoes. ]

I have a preference for the crazy crawler action no matter the maker in the fresh water for all perch species. Don't often use surface lures in the salt water, but I should get into it.
