A good mate of mine who loves his flats fishing and loves using live whiting for bait, legal size of course, asked me to make him a couple of lures based on the whiting shape. Well I finally got around to it and I am liking how they turned out. They are 115mm long and are made from white beech with 4 different bibs, so various depths and different actions. After swim testing them in the pool just now, I am pretty sure he is going to like them and they should catch fish. Now all he needs to do is try them out and let me know how they go.

I'll update when & if he sends me some photo's.
Cheers,

Gavin

Awesome looking lures Gavin.
Plastic is for storing lures, not making them.

Hi Dave,
They all get a swim, I have tried heaps of different bibs and bib angles and these 4 were the best variations, my personal favs are the top one for Deeper water and the bottom one for shallows but they all swim and have good actions.
Cheers,

Gavin
