With the recent request for details about Brett's lure designs I thought that I'd start the ball rolling and share this lot with you. They are some of his less common models, most of which I don't think have been posted here before. Unfortunately, they don't all belong to me.

Please enjoy and feel free to add any other models that you are happy to share for reference purposes,
Col

Frenzy (prototype).

Tub (large and two small) plus Hatchett.

3.0.3.

Black Bass (two sizes)

Bellbrook (two sizes).

USA Barra (Prototypes Nos1 & 2).

Nice lures Col

Here's an old Goodooga I found in a bunch of retro metal lures a while ago.

Cheers,

Danny

Don't know if this one ever went into production, it was called a 'Stinger'. A prototype with a very thin bib, which flexed a bit too much when trolled at speed, according to the Darwin guides who trialled it. Was given to me for my collection by my friend George Voukolos (since traded to someone on here for BarraKings LOL).
Seaweed.

Very nice looking lure Tony seems very strang that Brett would put such a lite bib on a lure like that stinger

If I ever wanted to sell it I can definitely say its never been swum that is how it came from Brett have seen these lures with different bibs.
Forgot to name that lure its a Bass bandit very easy mistake to make one thing Brett was good at was writing the name on the lure.

Thanks to those who have shared some additional models. I always enjoy seeing photos of other's lures and hopefully there will be more to come.

The check list below is a first attempt to document the model names of Brett's lures. It is intended as a staring point to be built on as further information becomes available.

In some instances multiple spellings of model names has been observed. Whether this is accidental, deliberate, the same model or with slight variations in design I can't say and will require further investigation to clarify.

Regards,
Col

And the "Spitfire"was in a diving model and a surface lure. Debbie Dare has one of these models and Terry Marshall has the other.

Matt, the only two I can give names of are the two Godoogas as you see them , 6" and 4 " models .All these lures except the last one were painted by Brett the last one I painted in the early days ,Brett called it his Catfish imitation lure , the rest have no names to my knowledge unless Brett named them eventually , hope this helps. Debbie Dare may be able to help here ???.

Hi Allan,
The "3.0.3." lure is one that I do own. It was described as a prototype when I purchased it on Ebay 18 April 2015.
Hope this helps,
Col

Col, have an F18 (I presume named after the aircraft) model, named and signed. I'll be bringing it down to the Expo for Traders Table if anyone is interested.
