Back at the Lure Expo earlier this year I purchased a matched pair of Ollie's new "Froliz" (Frog/Water Lizard) lures. I was able to bring the smaller(150 mm) Froliz home with me but as Ollie had entered the larger(250mm) Froliz in the "Most Artistic Finish" competition it had to stay behind. The lure subsequently went on to win the "Runner Up Award" in the competition, giving Ollie his second highly deserved award for the show. Yesterday I was delighted to be able to reunite the two lures after receiving a couple of parcels from Ollie in the mail.
These new surface lures have shown great promise with the action already terrorising the Saratoga up at Wivenhoe Dam earlier this year. I have added one of Ollie's photo to illustrate how they "sit" in the water. Regards, Col |

Thank you Col for the post, glad you like the 'Froliz' lure, been working on this one for while always looking to do something different. Currently working on a different variation of this lure with a shallow bib and fizzer props which Verlon has send me. Have send a few lures up north to see how they go on Barra, will be trying myself at the end of November at Weipa.
Thanks everyone else for the great comments. Cheers Ollie |
