I have found 13 different models of Gordon Fallon's Kingfisher poppers so far. Here they are labelled for easy ID. Keen to find any more models. |

I have a very early Kingfisher popper made when he was still using spray packs. This was verified by a mate whose mother used to date Gordon Fallon. I had put it up for ID 3 years ago. Since then I have made a re-aquaintance with my mate and he has confirmed it. If I am smart enough to remember when I get back to Brissie, I'll post it up.

Thanks Guys! The don't get the same prestige as the bibbed timber lures of the era. But these are an interesting part of Aussie Lure making history. Particularly the connections with Carl Grist and the Cooktown lure shop. Also the move to plastic with Alan Dolan.
From info on LL, I have found that models I don't have are the Kingfisher 'B', the 'GT' and 'Darter'
Keen to find one of each to add to the family. I have a few traders below available.
Cheers,
Matt

It looks like a shorter version of a Kingfisher 'A' Tony. What does it say underneath? Also can you put up a photo of the face - cupped or cut?
Nice one!
