Note the telephone number and address on back of packaging.
Any ideas of approx age from that info. (ex PMG? guys/gals) Another very early lure maker from Victoria, anybody else happen to have some. Not previously recorded in Vic section. Regards John |

Just from memory it would be 1940s or 50s.
Carter used to work for Hartleys before he went out on his own.
I have this lure plus an older mudeye imitation.
Soft plastics have been around for a while, eh?

Nick Creme in the US, developed the first 'true' soft plastics in 1949/50 IIRC, but Shakespeare had soft 'rubber' lures in the range back in the late 1800's.
