I worked at email with him in orange for a bit. I know he spent around 2-3k on a die to mass produce these lures as he couldn't keep up with the demand at the time. He was a lovely bloke to talk and he made some great lures.

Gary, there's still a few around the traps, even seen a couple still hanging in shops a few years ago.

Last ones on evilbay went reasonably cheaply IE under $50, though they didn't have the backing card with the funny blurb on the back.

I thought twice about posting this photo of 2 different JP lures. Trevor McFeeters told me about a darker skin tone he used to sell in his shop and he said that only a few were made. The penis lure was in great demand.

"My God!" They are huge! Embarrassed I wonder who ended up with my "personalised" timber version?? I sold it a few years back. When I say "personalised" I mean it had writing on it, not modeled after me, he would need a whole plank for that LOL Wink Cry Embarrassed

On the later models there were little critters painted on the darkest area and the backing cards were a riot I donated my last two the Kempsey bass club 10 plus years ago
