Been playing with a few gecko style surface lures for sometime......originally made some 50mm ones for bass and they more than proved themselves on several species by myself and others in various areas.
I started on a variety of sizes, and have several shapes and styles Im currently refining. These guys are average 120mm long.....thin bodied and wide bodied...cast like a bullet....and and glide with a nice side to side action when twitching rod on slow retrieve..twitch twitch boom! ...Almost got them how i want them thanks for looking 90mm earlier version....refining shape from here 120mm current shape and what ive been trying to achieve again the desired shape the below two are wide body versions.....they work well but im still tweeking these. bit too much glare on the group shot These two below were the first part of the larger gecko experiment, and went to ducks to try on his recent amazon trip....the wakebait got blown away and streamtrained into snags...never to be seen again, and the paddler seen action with quality WOLLFE FISH |

Jas I'd still love to get some of the single piece 90 and 120mm jobs when they ate ready.
And a couple more wake baits if they make a comeback. When they are ready - no rush for me at the moment. |

You complained about the glare ..... if your finishes were not as good as they are then you wouldn't have to worry about it. Top stuff Nicho

So that's where you got your inspiration from - the geckos in the shed. Careful the real ones don't try to mate with them, they are that sexy
