Ernie Butler originally from Wallangarra but was making them when he lived at Roma Q. One has been on before. Now owns a craft beer brewery at Stanthorpe.
 
Ernie made those lures whilst working at Roma (train driver)he then moved to Toow area and now lives in Stanthorpe area and opened a micro brewery. His nephew from Tenterfield is also making lures now that's Andrew.       Debbie D

Ernie stated that he didnt use poly bibs only alum.
Some have twisted wire towpoints ,some soldered wire ring, some tenterfield soldered towpoint. Some painted eyes some boggle. Ernie is a train driver instructor still. He did live in Mt Isa and Townsville years ago as well
