Its nice to get the chance to put a batch of lures together - when life is so hectic making lures is like therapy.

All Barambah 68's and 78's with a few new patterns I played with. I also played with some new sealer/undercoat and it seems like it really soaked in, and the paint really stuck well to it, but only time will tell in field testing!

Taking half fishing, the rest will be bagged up - stocking up for the expo.

Oh and the Nude is a Huon Pine Barambah 78, going to my mate Ash who sourced me a nice block of Huon from Tassie.

Cheers,

Matt

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments. I am happy with the actions and fish catching ability of these now after several three to four day cod trips. But still working on improving the durability of the finish, as it hasn't stood up as well as I had expected in the past.
The paintwork still needs more work, but looking forward to the next batch

I will have a few lures for the expo. Not sure how many, I would like to have around 100, but at the moment its around 20.

Cheers,
Matt

You should be very happy with those. Beautiful lures. Always hard to keep them looking good after a few cod eat them. I'm sure you will make them more durable whith your skill as a lure maker. See you at the Expo.
Cheers Brad

Often say to people who make there own lures that the look and finish on them does not matter if they are catching fish but you seemed to have nailed all aspects.Clap Very nice

Good work Matt, traded for a nice one at last years Expo, hanging on my wall too afraid to swim it.
See you there.

Matt, on second look I notice you've gone for polished ali with one in lexan. Mine has the painted bib, which I'm very happy with.

Thanks again!!!!! Ash and I fished them a bit at Copeton this week. Not a lot of time in the water as we were throwing big surface lures predominantly. But they look to have held up much, much better.

Cheers,
Matt
