A recent pick up of a classic Newell Boxed Kad has been a lure I would love in my collection.
So happy to open a parcel and find this beauty in the mail. It will sit well with the other couple of Newell Classics I have.
And the number is- 9 for those interested. Very early receiptient of the lure when first came out.
Regards Tony

The only reason it's out of the box was to remove the bubble wrap protecting it.

Brett, yes happy to receive the lure and also put it up there with the top 5 of my lures to collect. ( Besides a XL Aussie )

Yes it has a certificate, but sadly i don't have it as yet. The retired gentlemen whom bought it paid $100 for it when they first came out.
To protect the certificate and not lose it he folded it and put it in a Book for safe keeping , The nice gentlemen is looking for it as we speak. I hope it shows up but to be honest Brett....I'm a happy person to just have the lure first and worry about the certificate later.
Cheers Tony

Hold the bus :-) the gentleman found the certificate and is on its way to me . He has been a very nice person to deal with and helpful.
Seems what he remembered is spot on bought very early when they came out.

Well done Tony, that paperwork is a piece of artwork in itself, glad the old fella found it for you. My old late dad, had a habit of putting things between the pages of books, found some interesting bits of artwork after he passed.
