Thore forwarded some pictures  floppy styled lures and was happy for them to be placed on L L

They seem to be similar to Daves   (new member gimgeta)

Trying to find out a bit more about them. Maker , when available (age) country of origin Etc

Regards John

John, I reckon they are defiantly repaints with that texture under the blue, and if they are ''floppys'' --France  Ermm-Jason may be able to help here.??

They look like clear plastic? John...or are they rubber.
the centre frame looks silver.
flopys are brass?
the bibs dont look correct either.
someones had a play at moulding their own.
how do sizes compare beside originals?
also hook hangers appear too close together allowing hooks to foul on eachother.

YA DONT KNOW...IF YA DONT GO...SO GET OUT THERE AND... FISH IT

These photos are  from new member gimgeta (dave) Lures located in Aussie.

He is currently out in the desert at the moment and I am putting them up for him.

Were originally placed in the Welcome Area and would have been missed by a number of members.

Different plastic bib than found on the French floppy.

Regards John

Anybody have any further ideas on  history.

(((Could have been early Nicho prototypes perhaps)))

Thank you John,
for putting my photos on L,L site.

I purchased the two lures , from a friend who I have got a lot of flopy lures from in the past.

he told me he got them from a guy in france about 6 or 7 years ago , from e bay

The seller said to him they were flopy proto type lures , but could not give him any proof or papers.

He then took the gamble and got the 2 lures in to Australia and put them away and for got about them.

After I had bought most of his collection , he then offered me , the 2 x spotty lures.

He said , they are a gamble to buy , as he could not find any info on them.

So as any good fisherman would do, I took the gamble and did a deal to buy them from him.

Maxblue,
Then come up with photos of some lures , that look the same and were also from france
he thinks, but ,still no name or maker , to say what they are to confirm.

So we now have 4 same or similar , lures to put a name to !

There has to be more out there and a large size also.

hope some one in L/L land can help me out.

Many thanks to screaming reel and maxblue , with there help.Star

                         Cheers All Gimgeta !

I  have asked Dave to place some similar sized floppy's with  head , side shots to compare bibs, wire/metal structure ,hook placement etc when he returns from the bush.
