For all you light gear fisherman especially the Level Wind brigade.

Fly fishing leader wind knots.

I was put on to this item that is sold at Chemist shops for splinter removal.

Evidently the shearers best friend.

I have used it to deal with wind knots and it works brilliantly, would work wonders on over runs with braid.

In addition to the straight sharp pointy needle is the slightly bent at right angles thin stiff point.

Small than a biro thicker in the stem to work wonders.

Yep John they are invaluable for those knots, many years ago I was given an old crochet hook (very fine) by my late mum, works a treat .
Thumbs Up  Pete

Great idea...wish I seen this before I got my first bait caster...Shimano Chronarch...$89 worth of Power Pro...first cast birds nets that took 1/2 my braid...2 cast lost the next half...2 casts good buy to $89...way better idea than just knifing the braid off the reel....will get some for sure...
