one of my boats is a Southern Pacific rigid inflatable. the Divesport model. does anyone happen to know what would be the proper glue/adhesive for it?
I had a boo-boo happen last season. it over-inflated and then sat out too long on the street when I got, because I was unable to put it away immediately like I normally do. and my routine is to let air out once it's stored, but the routine being disrupted, I forgot to still let the air out where it was parked. the result was developing a leak around the cone at the rear of one of the side tubes.
I sent them an email, but haven't heard back. thinking maybe it didsn't go through. thought I would ask for some of your's expertise before I try to contact them again.

the emblem on the sides of the boat says "Southern Pacific New Zealand". guessing that's where they are made.

This is the best for inflatables, I have used it on my Zodiac and highly recommend it .
Cheers

Thanks samurai. I have a zodiac also, an older MKII. From what i know though, many inflatables are made with different materials. Pvc, hypalon, etc. And i think there are proper glues for the different ones as well. I did use some glue i have that works amazingly on my zodiac, to glue an emblem which was seperating from the newer boat. But the glue didnt work well at all, so i am guessing its because the Southern isnt pvc.

WOW, is this company great with response. I had sent them an email a fair while ago, but wasn't sure if it went through.(it didn't) so I just sat down and sent a new one in regards to this problem. in literally a minute, two tops, they responded. very impressive.
sent him the info and pictures and it is PVC. so now I can go about fixing it.
