Hey all, glad to be here and hope to learn a thing or two.

I built a CNC router nearly 10 years ago with the intention of making lures with it, unfortunately to date I haven't done so but my intention is still to have a go.

My main target will be the toothy critters, Mackarel, Coral Trout etc, and plan to use wire from front to back in case my dodgy lure actually catches something but falls apart at least I shouldn't lose the fish.

Gotta do a lot more research yet so I'll get to it.

Cheers.

Russell.

Welcome mate. If you can build a CNC router you should have no problems with the lures. Lots if help here.
Cheers Brad

Cheers Guys.  Painting has never been my strong point so Ill be checking out what the pros are doing.

John, my plan is to make the lure in two halves, that way I can rout the recess for the wire, also rattles, and maybe lead weights to help bib-less lures swim.  Going to experiment and see how it goes.

Russell.

I actually get to Cairns quite regularly as a taxi drier for my kids, any days/times better for you?
