Hi I havent seen these down here`
I have googled around a bit and it seems to be a Mcgrath??? Bennett Mcgrath ???? Merlin Where do they start or finish ? The lure is 60mm long Bib, eyes Seem to match pictures I found of an Ultra Deep Merlin, however I could not color match and the lure appears to be molded not timber Help please Thanks Kimo |

Its a Merlin first made around 1996 by John Bennett and yes molded John changed the name to Craftmaster Merlin around 2004 this name was sold to some one in Tassie I think still being made today |

Thanks Guys
I had been to the website but had difficulty in matching the color and the bib with the current lures displayed. My present understanding of what you are saying is Yes it is a molded Merlin by John Bennett, earlier because of the bib shape? Current bib style of the Ultra Deep would have undergone a change as it appears to be a long straight bib without widening out at the front of the bib displayed in the one above. Not sure if I have got it right or if there is a better name to describe the bib shape . Thanks guys please let me know Kimo |

these are the John Bennett Merlin Lures the same as the one you have mate,the new maker might not do that colour ?
