I also fished lures as well as fly on my last holiday. Here's a few pics. All except the Barra I caught on a Scorpion, that I found hanging on a snag, were caught on my lures.

A typical selection of fish from the western Cape's freshwater - don't you just love them? They all fight well in their own special way - great going Cliff, bet you can't wait to get back up there?

Yep, love the Cape's freshwater fishing and if the hip replacement that I'm booked in for next week goes OK I'll be back up there next winter. I see you have moved to Cooktown. I have a mate at Ayrton and usually call in to Cooktown each year. Maybe we can catch up for a coffee or beer next year if I get there? Cheers, Cliff
