Well done Ashley. That area never fished well for me years ago when I had a mate living in Dalby. The restocking program must be working.

Cheers fellas. This is in the Condamine River near Dalby Pete. They don't restock this area unfortunately Martin, i know the Oakey Creek is stocked and maybe certain parts of the condamine are. The best part about this reserve is not needing a stocked impoundment permit so anyone can fish here.

Great fishing trip! Thumbs Up Beats sitting around the house, I'm dying to get out. I would be verry happy with an 81. I'm going to have to kill the redbacks in my kayak    Unhappy

We got out again 2 days later and caught a few yellas and these 2 cod. This lure is one of 5 I've made out of jelutong and painted. I'm trialling it to see if I've sealed it properly. It's caught 3 cod and a few yellas now and spent a bit of time in the water getting snagged etc. No paint is flaking off it so i'm assuming the e-tex is doing it's job

Well done Ashley they're great fish. I reckon sealing a lure properly is one of the hardest things. That's great that your lures are holding up.

Cheers,

Danny.
