Visited Lake Pedder for the first time & stayed at Strathgordon. Rain really never stopped but was still great fun. What a wild place it is down there.
Hope you enjoy.

Very dark in colour Clint is it because of the above sea level?
Can you fish that creek below at all?

That second one was a great size Thumbs Up

Cheers,
Dave

Hey Maddog.
The water is like cola. Very dark and tannin due to the vegetation around the lake. The water runs over button grass and tee tree plains. The nutrients off these surrounds cause the cola colour in the water. The fish have adapted to there surrounds and go real dark to match the water. You can fish below the creek but its closed at the moment.

Great place Clint
Scenery is outstanding, during a bad blow we walked around the top of of the hills  above the accommodation,
We found the meals were good and the fire place even better.

I thought you guys did a great job finding the amount of fish you did.
It is a pity the size has dropped off.

Thanks for the report

MXB (Roger) will be pleased with the promotional footage.

Regards John
