These are Peg lures made from 1959 -1965 by Tom Hooper of Gordanvale just south of Cairns.
They are hand painted and have hand beaten Copper or Brass bibs.I have 2 only with Stainless Steel bibs.
Tom was a very good barra fisherman and seen a need for making his own lures and talking to older guys like Ron Gallo and Les Faithfull these Peg Lures were very successfull.
I will endeavour to find out some more info soon on Tom's lures.
I am sure I posted some up before but can't seem to locate them.

Interesting lures, great information.
I note with great interest the jointed minnows, have noticed an increasing number of them in current publictions and assume they are gathering popularity among the present day anglers and here we have some from yesteryear.
Another great pickup Barry.
