Tony, probably not a lot for the newer stuff, the older Lively made stuff a bit more, but for the quasi historian I am, worth keeping just for their place in the story.

Had a good chat with Alan Dolan about these when we went on a Barra trip together.
Seems Mal was a bit of a local legend and Alan couldnt speak highly enough of him.
There was some dodgy stuff went on after he passed with ownership of his lure designs I believe and also how they were made.
Thus maybe the reason they are now defunct.
Alan said Mal would have been turning in his grave to see his lures being sold all over Ebay etc.

Aaron, I believe so. I am not sure if they were making them prior to Mal's passing, but they continued as the supplier afterwards. They stopped lure production only a couple of years ago by their website.
RLT was an subsidiary of another business. Neither are locatable at old contact details now. Brad |

The range of lures that you have packages in the 'clam shell' packaging were those made by Refined Lure Technologies in Seaford. Mel designed the lures from the original poly foam models. They involved the addition of relatively new, for its time in Australia , 'Rattle ( ball bearing ) technology. This was the advantage of changing the lures to injection molding. The set also consisted of a pack of 5 Masta Poppa Lures in the Clam Style packaging. Yes, Mel was a 'Legend'.
