G'day.  I think this is Scott, John's son here? Some very nice lures there and in mint condition. Beautiful finish that makes them look still wetClap

Are these older ones or has your dad started carving up some new ones. Looking forward to seeing whatelse you guys come up with,  and welcome to the forum.Big smile
Alistair.

G'day Alistair,

Yeah it's Scott, they are some old lures that have never been used before. It has a two pack enamel finish on all the lures which gives the lures a beautiful glossy finish.   I have some more pictures that I will be posting soon.

G'day Laurie,

I found out some information on the "Big Mumma" for you.

It was designed for the big cod around home (Glen Innes), a family friend had asked dad if he could design a bigger lure for the big cod. So dad started to making a few of these lures, he couldn't think of a name for it. So one day dad had got one of the lures out of his tackle box and my sister had seen the lure and said "wow! That's a big Mumma", and so the name stuck.

Dad made about 50 of the Big Mumma's. He swapped some at lake murwalla cod classic and sold some at Moree and sold a few more around the place. He keep 5 out of the 50 so the are a very collectable lure.

I hope that helps you out a bit mate.

Cheers
Scotty.
