Here is my cataloges ( I luckily have 2 mint ones which I will get around to framing front and back one day). Whilst this is only some of the lures Peter made in the later part of his work it is a good reference for people to ID lures and standard colours.  Put on the reading glasses and you might be able to make out a bit of the history and lure making process of these lures as stated if you open the pic up

Just thought I would bump this forward ..."Gower era Classics"
Peter had obviously modified the catalogue (partnership had ended) but lures are there for ID purposes.
it may help some of the newbies.

Sorry to sound like a tech head geek,

But those with a scrolling mouse can view in magnification by holding down the control (ctrl) at bottom left of keyboard and roll the scroll mouse button up.

To go back to where you started - do reverse, otherwise your screen will stay on magnification..

Handy hint also if you cant find your reading glasses..

I remember reading articles in  Fishing World or Modern Fishing, circa after Oct 1987, featuring
'Newell's Orignal, Salt Water Series', in the blue with yellow(as displayed). Can't for the life of me remember who penned the article, nor the issue, but they were fishing a rocky point, on a dropping tide, in water the colour of milk coffee, catching Salt Water Barra. Alas my collection of both these mags was lent to a good mate who had broken his leg to keep him entertained in his low times. His Missus, who even I wouldn't cross, turfed them out as unwanted clutter.
Thanx heaps for the post, Alistair. Star

Thanks Alistair, this has helped me name two lures I purchased at MO Coffs in the late 90's. According to the brochure they are Saltwater series M2, metal bib, don't remember if they came with cards? If they did must have lost it, my sons caught barra on both, have green one left, red/black watery grave. Wish now I'd grabbed more, great little lure for creek barra casting. Can't remember price back then, but MO had quite a few.
Seaweed.

I was still ordering stock out of this catalogue as late as the end of 2007 with the exception of the ploppy range.

The Ploppy was released in June 1997, the coati 19 Aug 1999. This brochure is after 1999. I have a brochure with the Coati not on the brochure but an insert and the date is on the back of the photo.
Hope this helps date lures.
